The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is essential in connecting parents and educators and fostering a supportive community for students. Dedication. Passion.
The PTO has to ensure that various aspects of our organization run smoothly and effectively. Each committee focuses on specific areas, such as fundraising, events, or community outreach, allowing us to distribute responsibilities and engage more parents in our activities. The time commitment can vary depending on the committee's needs, but strive to make it manageable for all volunteers. We always welcome volunteers, as fresh ideas and energy are essential for our success and to create vibrant school community.
Beautification Committee
This committee is in charge of ensuring the school grounds and planters are well maintained. They are looking for any volunteers to help weed, plant, and/or water as needed.
Time commitment is minimal and most major events are held on weekends/evenings.
Fun Lunch
Adds a little fun to our student’s lunches, not to mention a day off from making lunch! The committee plans each lunch and helps out (along with many other volunteers) on the day of each Fun Lunch.
Time commitment is during the day.
Communications
The PTO Communications Committee enhances communication between the Parent-Teacher Organization and the school community. They share important information, organize events, and promote engagement, ensuring everyone stays informed and connected.
Family Fall Event
Plans a carnival themed family event including games, decorations and food.
Family Knights Out
Plans fun-filled dinners at local restaurant approximately once a month to bring our school community together and raise funds for our school.
Hospitality
Plans and provides breakfasts, lunches, dinners, desserts and refreshments, as well as special amenities during Parent/Teacher Conferences and Teacher Appreciation Week.
Fun Run
Plans the Fun Run, promotes the run prior to the event and coordinates the actual run. This is the PTO’s largest fundraising event.
Yearbook
Creates the annual yearbook. The committee takes pictures and always needs volunteers to take pictures – as many as possible!
Time commitment is during the evenings and sometimes weekends.
School Spirit
The School Spirit Wear Committee designs and promotes school merchandise to reflect school spirit. They create apparel and accessories for the community, fostering unity and pride.
Sweetheart Dance
The Sweetheart Dance Committee is a dedicated group of enthusiastic members who work tirelessly to create a memorable experience for our school community. Their role is to plan the theme and decorations as well as organizing music and refreshments.
Parent Bingo
The committee organizing the Parent Bingo Night work collaboratively to plan engaging activities, coordinate logistics, and ensure a fun atmosphere for all participants.
